Are you thinking it is time to start getting ready to have a baby? Congratulations, this is an exciting time! Now what? This program is designed to help your body to prepare to carry a baby. There are many changes that happen to your body throughout pregnancy, and the best time to prepare is before your body starts those changes!
It is very important to improve your flexibility, core stability, muscle strength, and general wellness. This program will have a variety of workouts designed to improve the way your body moves by targeting all of those areas.
The program will go through 4 weeks of exercising 4 days per week, with a combination of different exercises for each of the days and flexibility incorporated. I encourage you to repeat this program as many times as you need. Each exercise will have information on how to progress as it gets easier, whether that means increasing the weight or a different exercise altogether.
Along with exercising each week, there will also be an educational portion for you to read to learn more about pregnancy and delivery. Preparation is key!
If you are undergoing any fertility treatments, please check with your doctor before participating in any exercise program.
Once you become pregnant, most of these exercises will still be safe to do as long as your doctor clears you to continue exercising. Exercise during pregnancy is healthy and encouraged as long as your doctor clears you!
Disclaimer: This exercise program is not designed to improve fertility or guarantee your ability to get pregnant. Being active and exercising is good for your general health and wellbeing as well as your mental health, but that does not guarantee you will get pregnant. Please listen to your doctors recommendations as far as exercise, nutrition, supplementation, and prescriptions. If at any time you feel you are not performing the exercise correctly, or if it is giving you pain, cease the exercise. Videos of the exercises may provide more information than the provided descriptions and photos.
Please follow the guidance of your medical doctor. Some people are at higher risk for exercise, especially if undergoing fertility treatments. If your medical doctor has advised you not to exercise for any specific reason, please do not engage in this exercise program. If at any time you have an increase in pain, dizziness, increased fatigue, and/or severe leg pain, please seek medical attention.
